The CanSat kit has arrived from the Netherlands.
On the 27th of December, our team received a long-awaited package. The cardboard box had its delivery details printed on it – and the sender was the European Space Agency – which meant the CanSat kit has finally arrived!
The small bag contains all the electronic and structural parts needed for the primary mission. Thermistors and pressure sensors for collecting data, communication modules for transmitting it, and a lot of cables for wiring all the devices up.
The next milestone will be the procurement of the sensors for the secondary mission. We will have an important meeting with ESA in January, so the team is busy with the preparations.
